Proverbs 14:12 “There is a way which seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death.”

Proverbs 28:26 “He who trusts in his own heart is a fool, but he who walks wisely will be delivered.”

Jeremiah 10:23 “I know, O LORD, that a man's way is not in himself, nor is it in a man who walks to direct his steps.”

Their Conscience… Let your conscience be your guide – is the appeal of many But one’s conscience is not always reliable

Acts 23:1 “Paul, looking intently at the Council, said, "Brethren, I have lived my life with a perfectly good conscience before God up to this day.”

The Christians Authority In Morality Jesus has all authority!

Acts 17:30-31 "Therefore having overlooked the times of ignorance, God is now declaring to men that all people everywhere should repent, because He has fixed a day in which He will judge the world in righteousness through a Man whom He has appointed, having furnished proof to all men by raising Him from the dead."

John 12:48 "He who rejects Me and does not receive My sayings, has one who judges him; the word I spoke is what will judge him at the last day.
