How far can be diseases be predicted and mitigated against? Key Idea 4a: Increasing global mobility impacts the diffusion of disease and the ability to respond to it. Learning Objectives: To look at the role of the WHO an international organisation in providing international strategies to combat disease.

Homework Read the information about the work of the British red Cross and how it helped in the cholera epidemic following the Haiti earthquake 2010. Describe the work that this NGO and others did in trying to mitigate against this disease. How successful was their work?
