Aim To agree common methodology to quantify the uncertainties on each method For application to the solar channels of GEO-LEO inter-calibration Following CEOS guidelines To agree common qualitative criteria for assessing their performance To identify complementary methods

Brief Please consider: How to apply to "your" Solar inter-cal method: Patrice's method of Error Analysis Fred’s Assessment Criteria Please concentrate on these rather than the inter-calibration method, which will be the subject for later discussions. What information is needed to perform this analysis? When can we expect results? How the error budget can be performed for multiple observations, which may not be independent? Should systematic biases and random errors be treated separately?

Conclusions Do the uncertainty analysis and assessment criteria need further revisions? What is needed to complete analysis? How we will review analyses? E.g. gsics-dev@googlegroups.com? GSICS wiki? Email to other investigators in GSICS or external? What is the timescale? Next web meeting? Next GRWG meeting?
