Intelligence Fusion Analyst Program Hello Ladies and Gentlemen: The purpose of this presentation is to present an introduction to the Intelligence Fusion Analyst Program and to present a sample scenario and geospatial scenario. Next Slide UNIVERSITY OF PHOENIX

Intelligence Fusion Analyst Program Fusion Analysts assign value and implications of the intelligence collected The impact is then shared with decision makers for their timely action to ensure the safety of our country Training consist of four weeks of intensive training at Goodfellow AFB, San Angelo Texas Ladies and Gentlemen: (Move to next slide)

Program Goals, Objectives and Strategies IFG 1: Adopt a comprehensive training approach to enhance Fusion Analyst skills. IFG 2: Support ongoing intelligence collection and analysis of counterinsurgency operations. IFG 3: Improve information Integration and sharing of Intelligence. Objectives IFO 1: Understand, monitor and disrupt terrorist groups and their threats. IFO 2: Integrate all-source information and develop actionable intelligence to support policy and operations. IFO 3: Detect and counter adversary’s cyber threats. Strategies Use games and scenarios to motivate students to learn as they play Provide analysis courses emphasizing the use of the ISR products Develop the analyst use of multiple sources, including HUMINT, GEODETIC, and others The Goals, Objectives and Strategies for ISR training are based on the Air Force and the Intelligence Community (IC) requirements for the Fusion of Intelligence, including the collection, analysis, and dissemination. Strategies Use games and scenarios to motivate students to learn as they play Provide analysis courses emphasizing the use of the ISR products Develop in analysts the use of data from multiple sources, including HUMINT, GEODETIC, and others. Intelligence Fusion Scenario A disturbance has been reported by various local news organizations. The report confirms that a group of armed men with ties to ISIS, are travelling towards the capital of the Island of Sodor, Vicarstown. Sodor, is a sovereign nation of the coast of England, that provides support to U.S. forces in the region. Vision: To maintain AF ISR tactical competencies, and to rebuild the capabilities and capacity to conduct operations in different and complex environments. Maximizing strategic airborne ISR operations to shift operational focus, and to maximize the capabilities and use of existing assets. Use of Wargaming during training and operations to conserve resources and to integrate new technology Fusion of ISR intelligence is a desirable skill of professional ISR professionals. Continuous training and development of ISR professionals is needed to collect, manage, analyze and report of intelligence from different specialties, including imagery, Signals and others. Global integrated ISR: The complex global environment has forces deployed around the world. Managing those resources require the understanding of the various missions and how to maximize the use of operations and safety of the existing personnel and equipment resources. The integration of use of ISR assets provides the key for timely and valuable intelligence for decision makers. (Move to next slide)

Intelligence Fusion Scenario Provide answers to the following: How can we validate the information from news sources? List three sources Integrate the product of these sources into a reportable product Disseminate the intelligence How do we continue to monitor the scenario? Name intelligence assets and their contribution Vision: To maintain AF ISR tactical competencies, and to rebuild the capabilities and capacity to conduct operations in different and complex environments. Geospatial Intelligence Exercise Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) involves the analysis of ISR imagery Observe the following video, then proceed to identify and point the collection platform and the location and quantity of: Aircrafts, and type Trucks and type Airfields, how many runways The student must identify: Aircrafts, and type Trucks and type Airfields, how many runways From that information and other observed, he can infer the direction of travel, soldiers in trucks, etc. (Move to next slide)

Geospatial Intelligence Exercise Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT), is one of those intelligence specialties that benefits from the use and exploitation of ISR training. Click on image to play video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D66ajl6fnlI (Move to next slide)
