A Midsummer Night's Dream Act I by: William Shakespeare

his daughter does not want to marry Demetrius, so Theseus Act 1 Egeus brings Hermia to see Theseus and he complains that his daughter does not want to marry Demetrius, so Theseus gives her 3 choices: marry Demetrius, become a nun or die. Lysander and Hermia come up with a plan to run away to his aunt's and get married. They are meeting up in the woods.

Helena believes if he tells Demetrius about Hermia and Lysander that he will pay attention to her. The tradesmen have decided to perform for the Duke on his wedding day, Bottom would like to play all the parts in the play. The men are going to meet in the woods to practice their play so no one can see them.
