Invasive Species Type a letter Determine what organism you think is the WORST invasive species (there are many ways of describing WORST… so make sure to describe why you chose it). Write a letter to DNR (Department of Natural Resources) How was it introduced? Why is this organism the WORST? What has it done? What are future concerns (how could it do more damage)? What do you think needs to be done? How would you do it? Be specific… where will the money come from to afford the eradication of this organism?

Wanted Poster Create a “Wanted: Dead or Alive” poster for each species. Include the following information and format:   Make the poster eye-catching and easy to read. Do not include too much information. Common and scientific name of the organism. A drawing or “cut and paste” picture of the organism. Provide a brief background of the organism such as when it was introduced to the area and where it originates. Explain why having the alien species is a problem for the ecosystem or the economy. Explain what one solution to the problem of this alien species could be. Give at least two things someone living in the area could do to prevent further spread of this organism.
