It started with a grant. HEF Genius Club

I bought stuff! Little Bits Magformers Snap Circuits Jumperbot Gyrobot Sphero & Ollie 2 mini iPads Makey Makey Magformers Keva Brain Builder and blocks Lego Story Starters Mindstorms Knitting supplies Squishy Circuits Kits

Genius Club Makers I invited fourth and fifth graders to come once a week at lunch. Response was overwhelming Genius Club Makers

Professonal Service - HSD Teacher Jessica Sichelstiel co-sponsored Genius Club as her professional service.

But there wasn’t time to break down the robotics kits and start over. Gyrobot runs on a string between two chairs.

That’s when I realized I needed help!

A Carroll College student volunteered Lucky me! A Carroll College student volunteered to teach robotics to the geniuses. Bridgette is showing kids how to program an Adafruit.

Bridgette has helped us for three years. Next year she will be a senior!
