Notes: I created and used this game as an oral mental starter when I was teaching YR 4 money problems. The game practices place value through money. The object of the game is to make the highest price. Three numbers appear 'at random' on the PP and the children need to decide if the number goes in the tens, units or in the bin. The child with the highest price is the winner. Obviously, can be changed to incorporate £ or remove money all together and just use as a place value tool.
