Boranes as Lewis Bases and the Synthesis of Metallaboratranes Daniel Rabinovich, The University of North Carolina at Charlotte PRF 43395–B3 Primary or secondary amine adducts of the neutral poly(mercaptoimidazolyl)boranes B(mimMe)nH3-n (n = 1, 2, 3) have been prepared and characterized by a combination of analytical and spectroscopic methods, including elemental analysis, multinuclear (1H, 11B, 13C) NMR and IR spectroscopies and, for the mono- and bis- compounds, X-ray crystallography (shown below).
