Unit 7I: Energy Resources Lesson 2 WALT To look at how energy is transferred in energy chains.

WILF (What I'm Looking For) By the end of the lesson I would like you to be able to: Recall some energy chains for simple everyday objects. Realise that energy is never created or destroyed. Keywords WALT To look at how energy is transferred in energy chains. Listen out for these words in today’s lesson. transfer energy chain

The Important Rules of Energy Science Energy is something that cannot be seen. It is invisible. Energy is never created or destroyed, it is only transferred from one type into another. This is a very important Science law. It was proposed by me, Albert Einstein, as part of my law of general relativity.

Energy Chains Energy cannot be created or destroyed. It is transferred from one type into another. This transformation can be shown as an energy chain. A torch transfers electrical energy into light energy and heat energy. You need to do at least three other energy chains and write them in your Science book using the same format as above. Light energy Electrical energy Heat energy

WILF (What I'm Looking For) By the end of the lesson I would like you to be able to: Know how many different forms of energy there are. Name the different forms of energy. Design a set of visual logos to help you remember them. Keywords WALT To look closely at the different forms that energy can take. Listen out for these words in today’s lesson. light sound nuclear electrical heat potential chemical kinetic
