Tagapagpadaloy ng Pagbabago – 1 Tagapagpadaloy ng Usapan [GREETING, INTRODUCE SELF AS FACILITATOR] For those of you who attended the Foundation Session, you were introduced to skills needed to become a facilitator or Tagapagpadaloy ng Usapan. Today, you will be learning an eFDS topic that you yourself will cascade to your Pantawid members. So we will review our facilitation skills first, before we go into the eFDS topic. Tagapagpadaloy ng Pagbabago – 1 Tagapagpadaloy ng Usapan i-Pantawid TP1

FDS Observer Feedback Form When you facilitate the eFDS for your groups, an Observer will be there. [IF OBSERVERS ARE IN THE AUDIENCE, INTRODUCE TO THE GROUP] The Observer will just observe how the eFDS is conducted. In the beginning, the Observer may help you out with your topic, but it is best if you handle the group on your own. The Observer will be recording the conduct of the eFDS through this form, the eFDS Observer Feedback Form. Let’s go through the contents together. [GO THROUGH TO ITEM 4] Item 5 concerns your skills as a facilitator. The objective of this feedback is to help you grow as facilitators, to become very good facilitators. Let’s go through each skill. [READ EACH SKILL, GIVING EXAMPLES, AND CORRESPONDING RATING] [CONTINUE WITH ITEMS 6 AND 7] At the bottom, the Observer will list any other comments or observations and sign the document. The Observer will show you this form and discuss your ratings and other content after the eFDS, together with suggestions for improvement. After the discussion, please sign the form to signify it has been discussed with you. i-Pantawid TP1

Pagsasanay i-Pantawid TP1 We will now practice facilitation. What are the 4 key sentences of a facilitator? [REVIEW SLIDE 5] [Divide the participants into 4 or 5 groups. Each group to assign a facilitator and an observer. Provide the observers with the eFDS Observer Report. Distribute the quotations to be discussed to the facilitators with the instruction to discuss the topic within their group for 15 minutes, emphasizing participation and to arrive at an agreement on what the quotation says or means to them, while the observer will rate the facilitator. The facilitator and observer will not share his/her own opinion on the topic. At the end of the time period, the facilitator will share the quotation and what it means to their group, the observer will report on how the discussion proceeded. Process the experience of the facilitator, the participants and the observer of each group.] i-Pantawid TP1

Discussion Topics GROUP 1 13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. GROUP 2 15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Discussion Topics   GROUP 3 38 Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth: 39 But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also. GROUP 4 40 And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloak also. 41 And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain.
