D8 – Bellringer Today is the DAY! The first 15 minutes or so of class today are your chance to finish up your persuasive research paper. You as students will be grading each other based on the class rubric, and I’ll be considering your class grade as well as my own for your assignment. Good luck; you’ll have about 5 minutes each.

Final 5: Logical Fallacy of the Day: The Argument by Pigheadedness VID This is the refusal to accept a well- reasoned argument, simply because you are stubborn, no matter what proof they might show you. Logical Form: Argument X is well-argued. Person 1 has no objections to the argument, besides just refusing to accept the conclusion. Therefore, argument X is not true.
