How Zara took customer focus to new heights?

1. Why does Zara maintain a strategy in its supply chain to utilize only %50 of its warehousing capacity? Customer demand drives store deliveries Factories located in more-costly labour markets ( the trendiest items are made closest to home and this allows the entire production process to take about two to three weeks.) The company keeps its stock fresh with very little leftover stock.

How does this add value to its customers in its value chain? Often specific items are adjusted according to customer feedback. Zara customers realize that since the fashions turnover and change quickly, they must buy it or never. They propose 6 collections during the year. High variety of products. Locate their stores as close to the highest-end luxury and the customers associates the location with quality product.
