The Season to Herald the Gospel 2 Timothy 4:1–5

In what “season” is your faith. - Productive & growing In what “season” is your faith? - Productive & growing? - Diminishing & declining?

In what “season” is your faith In what “season” is your faith? Regardless of our cultural climate, we must fulfill our mission by telling the good news of Christ to others.

2 Timothy 4: 1–5 Positive Truth: We communicate God’s Word in the presence of Christ. Application: Do this with readiness, conviction, correction, and compassion Negative Truth: Many will remain deaf to the truth because of their own selfish desires Application: Be clear-headed, learn endurance, know your mission and fulfill your ministry

2 Timothy 4:1 I solemnly charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by His appearing and His kingdom: preach the word

2 Timothy 4:2 preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with great patience and instruction.

2 Timothy 4:3–4 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires, and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths.

2 Timothy 4:5 But you, be sober in all things, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.

In what “season” is your faith In what “season” is your faith? Regardless of our cultural climate, we must fulfill our mission by telling the good news of Christ to others.
