Our History Matheson family cattle farm and “Pistol Pete” Sandhill Cove is privately owned by the Weitz family. This family began LCS They began as a construction company building retirement communities Sandhill Cove has been serving our retiree's for 20 years. Fun Side Fact: Our very first resident still lives on campus and she attended the 20th Anniversary Party on October 17, 2013.

About Our Community There are 198 Apartments and 28 Villas in the Independent Living Section 36 acre waterfront property on the South Fork of the St. Lucie River. The club house is 23,560 sq. ft. with beautiful atriums and views of the cove.
