MEDIEVIL TIMES By Claudia and Ella

PEASANTS Peasants are poor people especially while the black death was around . They watched people die around them every day . They mostly live on the streets but sometimes they live in very small houses .

As you can see in this picture, they lived on the streets and it wasn’t just a few it was loads of people . They all laid close together on the ground with no blankets or pillows . The place were they lived (the street ) is where they died . When they died their families carried them to the only graveyard there was .

PESTILENCE Pestilence are what they called animals . Rats where the animals to look out for , because they went down the drains and got fleas in their hair they got bacteria stuck , That’s how they carried around fleas .

In the middle ages , Rats were all grey and black and had long hair and tails. Rats eat scraps / leftover food to stay alive . Lots of rats died from starvation because they didn’t always get any Food .

Knights AND KINGS Knights were like slaves to the king because their armour weighed 50kg. Their armour was so expensive £ 400 .

Three of the kings were Called Edward ( 1st ,2nd,3rd ) One was called Richard 2nd And Henry 5th. Princes were in the higher end of a chart because of all of the money they had. Edward 1st was king 1272-1307 .Edward 2nd lasted 1307-1327.Edward 3rd lasted 1327-1377.Richard 2nd lasted 1377-1399. Henry 5th lasted 1399-1413.
