Presentation transcript:

Please can your child choose 1 task to complete each week. Summer Term – 2nd Half Please can your child choose 1 task to complete each week. There will also be weekly maths homework in addition to the ones on the grid. Have a practise at column addition and subtraction. Challenge yourself with 4 digit numbers! We are learning about the Water Cycle this half term. How much water does your house use? What does your house use water for? Make a list and perhaps include some photos to show how water is used in your home. This term we are looking at calligrams and poetry. Produce your own calligram based on an idea of your choice. In maths we will be looking at geometry and angles. Can you find objects with different angles? Can you compare their size? Draw shapes that are symmetrical and show their lines of symmetry. We will be looking at recycling and art. What could you make using recycled materials? Maybe a piece of jewellery, a picture or even a sculpture? We’d love to see your creations. In your reading book, can you identify the following: - Determiner - Possessive pronouns - Parenthesis - Expanded noun phrases Year 4 review. What have been your favourite moments and memories of Year 4? Present these in any way you like – it could either be a Google slides document, a poster or a booklet.
