Course Overview Our emphasis is on fostering effective reading skills across the content areas Increase high school and college readiness Understanding the real-world importance of reading Four major units: reading workshop, non-fiction science, non-fiction social studies, historical fiction Book of the Month with individualized reading goals tailored to each student
