Monthly Chapter Meeting General Timeline for Monthly Chapter Meeting: 5:30 – 6:00pm: Networking, Group events 6:00 – 6:30pm: Dinner, more networking 6:30 – 7:00pm: Chapter Business Presentation 7:00 – 8:15pm: Keynote Speaker After 8:15pm: Networking and Monthly meeting wrap up Where else can you get dinner and a show for only $25-$10(Early bird)?! Each meeting will have a presentation on a wide variety of different topics.

Networking – did you bring your business cards? One of the greatest benefits of belonging to a chapter is networking. Dedicated networking groups at Monthly Chapter meetings: Veterans Women Young professionals Networking 101 Sit at a table of people you don’t know, even if you came with someone. Bring business cards, and share them. Learn more about project management in other industries. Immediately after the chapter meeting, connect via email or LinkedIn. (If you don’t have a LinkedIn profile, make one!)

Communities of Practice Connect with Project Managers who share your interests through the Communities of Practice. The Communities of Practice are a great way to network, share best practices, and gain information and knowledge. PMP® Certification Exam Prep Course If you are interested in earning the PMP certification NCPMI offers three PMP Exam Preparation Courses per year. Classes in each PMP Exam Preparation Course session will be taught in the RTP area on 5 consecutive Saturdays. Volunteering with NC PMI Chapter If you are looking for ways to enhance and improve your project and general management skills then volunteering at NC PMI is an excellent opportunity for you. Our volunteers are committed – and passionate about what they are doing for the membership…and you! WE want your participation … we want you to GET INVOLVED! No experience is necessary!
