Building Champions On And Off The Court

The Phoenix Difference We are a non-profit organization dedicated to offering elite volleyball instruction in a caring, family-oriented atmosphere. We believe it is equally important to develop young men and women on and off the court. We focus on character, competition and personal growth. We get results: - We have produced more scholarship athletes than any current club in East Tennessee. - Last year alone, seven of the girls that graduated from this program were extended offers to play at the collegiate level. 2

Building Champions On And Off The Court The Phoenix Difference As successful as our athletes are on the court, we encourage them to be even more successful in the classroom: - We start practices at 6:30 p.m. – this allows for more time to devote to homework and assignments after school, while also giving families the opportunity to enjoy dinner together before practice. - We only practice two days per week – this allots more days during the week for our girls/boys to focus on academics. 3

Building Champions On And Off The Court Our Mission The mission of Phoenix Rising Volleyball Club, Inc. is to develop and promote the sport of volleyball in a family-oriented environment. We challenge all players, from the entry-level to the elite. With sportsmanship and teamwork, our athletes learn to compete and develop a lifelong passion for the game. 4
