Warm-Up – Answer the questions. What was your first thought when you saw your teacher? Describe your teacher’s current appearance in 10 words or less. What could be a possible stereotype or “single story” of your teacher today? Does this remind you of anything/anyone else you have ever seen? Based on this, what do you think we are going to be learning about today?

Today’s Activity We are going to the lab to do a WebQuest. You will be assigned to a particular group (this is not a group activity, it just is a way to sort the work that you’ll be doing). Make sure you get started right away. Your work goes on notebook paper, but you will not turn it in until tomorrow.

Step 1: Get on the blog for today.

Step 2: Access your WebQuest.

Step 3: Read the directions + start.
