Opportunities I think it is very important to understand that the things you post on instagram, facebook etc. can effect your future job and effect what jobs you can get. When I search my name up on the internet, I found a picture of me that I posted on instagram but I am not worried because I do not post anything bad on instagram. I always keep in mind that not just my followers can see my posts but anyone that searches my name up so I do not post anything that can effect my future. 

More on what comes up when I search my name. I used to have a hockey account on instagram where I post my skills and practice. I had a pretty good fan base and had around 4,000 followers at one point. I always bleeped out the profanity in my posts and never posted my address or license plates. So when I searched my name up images from my hockey account can up as well as some of team pictures from hockey years ago. 

Effects There are many pros and cons with the digital footprint because if you post inappropriate pictures or videos on you're account it can be put on the internet. This can effect your job in many ways because when people hire you they sometimes search you're name up on the internet to see what things are posted on the internet. I thing I like to listen to and always keep in mind is if I post something on Instagram or Facebook etc, I should be able to show my grandma the picture and her be okay with it.
