International System Safety Society Way Forward for 2018-2019 2017 The conference made a large profit No Chapter volunteered to run 2018 DoC proposed the EC take on planning the ISSC 4/29/2019 International System Safety Society

International System Safety Society Way Forward for 2018-2019 2019 and Beyond Plan Objectives Key that specific aspects of conference have continuity Low planning team turnover from year to year Build long term relationships w/ organizations, sponsors and attendees Better able to update and reuse documentation (i.e. presentation guides, emails, sponsor prospectus, etc.) Some consistent tracks/tutorials year over year (tied to initiative) Focus on delivering more value for the funds we collect Goal of lowering registration prices while still addressing key funding targets Multi-year sponsorships Advertising in key markets we want to attract (automotive, etc.) Focus on growing the conference, the ISSS and the field of system safety. 4/29/2019 International System Safety Society
