English 1 - October 8th Agenda Test Debrief Dystopia Project Roles Brainstorming and Work Time Exit Ticket and HW You Will Need: Dystopia Project Handout 1 piece of paper Writing implement

Dystopia Project Identify one problem with modern life. Create a fictional world that exaggerates that problem into a Dystopia, using all elements of Dystopia. Create a digital presentation (NOT a powerpoint) to share your Dystopia with the class.

Dystopia Project - Today’s Work Get your group together with a role sheet. Decide on roles and fill out the role sheet. Show the completed role sheets to receive computers. Open the Google document you created for homework. Use this as a brainstorming sheet and write down EVERY idea, no matter how ridiculous. When time is called, begin editing your ideas and working on your individual reports.

Exit Ticket: 1 per group Discuss your plan for getting work done over the weekend. What will be done by Monday? How will you communicate? What will you do in class on Monday?

Homework Continue working on Dystopia projects. You will only have 2 more class day to work on this.
