SCG and Water Directors, May 2013: North East Atlantic geographical intercalibration group (NEA GIG, involving UK, EI, FR, BE, NL, ES, PT, DE, DK, SW, NO) presently lacks a leadership … a solution has to be found urgently.

Proposal for NEA GIG lead/coordination: Lead from Institute of Marine Research (IMR). - Gro van der Meeren JPI Oceans contributes with intercalibration expertise. - Wendy Bonne Shared funding by NEA GIG countries.

Institute of Marine Research “Knowledge and advice for clean marine and coastal regions”. Norway’s largest Centre for marine science. 700 employees. Focus on ecosystems in the sea and coastal areas.
