Ms. Cumpton – 6th Grade World History Welcome to Open House! Ms. Cumpton – 6th Grade World History

Message from the principal End of 3A

World History Focuses on the way people interact and have interacted with one another and the world around them. The culture, economics, geography, government, and history of different civilizations provide the foundations of this curriculum. Opportunities for the development of critical thinking and problem solving skills are basic to the learning process.

Materials! One composition (or spiral) notebook: may need to get another throughout the year. One folder – This is where students will keep handouts/homework worksheets. All work will be returned to Ms. Cumpton to be filed in the student’s portfolio. Mention that the supply sheet provided at the beginning of the year was not for me, but for previous teacher. All supplies were very much appreciated.
