Let’s Look @ Religion… Complete the Frayer Model – Religion Introduction. Be sure to complete each of the four sections: Definition – What is a religion? Illustration – Sketch symbols/visuals you think of when you hear the word religion. Examples – What are some examples of religions you know? Non-Examples – What are some non- examples of religions?

Definition Religion – A system of beliefs held with faith and strong feeling. Usually involves devotional and ritual observances (example: prayer), and often contains a moral code governing the conduct of human affairs.

Non-Examples Atheism – A person that does not believe in a god or a higher being. A person that ONLY believes in things that can be proven by fact (people that are religious can’t prove the belief, but they have faith in the fact that it is true).
