Improve-it……………… Improve-it was launched in September 1998 and was only open to warehouse employees. In October 1999 we launched Improve-it 2000 to the whole of the **********. At it’s peak in 2002-2004 we received approximately between 25 and 30 ideas a month With a conversion rate of about 12%

How it worked………….. 1pt = 50p 1 Idea submitted Scheme Administrator Evaluator Allocated Reject Evaluator and submitter discussion Further Investigation (may include specialist) Reject 1pt = 50p 10 Reject Final Decision 14 39 89 239 Implement

Measurable…………….. Idea submitted and if valid idea the details are entered onto the Improve-it database – 1pt Idea assigned to an evaluator. If after discussion with submitter the idea is suitable for further investigation – 10pts If after further investigation involving specialist and the responsibility for the area involved the idea is to be implemented the following points are added to the employees account on completion of idea Not Categorised 14pts = 25 Category A 39pts = 50 Category B 89pts = 100 Category C 239pts = 250
