Basic Information Name: Iron Man Alter-Ego: Tony Stark (although he does not keep his identity secret) Powers: He is a genius, and has a robotic suit of armour that gives him superhuman strength, durability, flight, awareness and an array of weapons including missiles, energy repulsors and lasers. Purpose: S.H.I.E.L.D will call on him if the world is in danger of extra-terrestrial or superhumans threats or they require his services.

History History: Tony Stark was a billionaire CEO of the weapons developing company, Stark Industries. On a trip to the Middle East to demonstrate a new missile, the car he was in exploded and he was kidnapped by terrorists. A fellow prisoner had to attach an electromagnet to his chest to stop the shrapnel from entering his heart. In the lab the terrorists gave him to rebuild the missile he had been demonstrating, he created a miniature sustainable energy source known as the Arc Reactor to power the electromagnet forever. He also built the first Iron Man suit, which he used to escape the terrorists. Since then, he has developed newer Iron Man suits and more efficient Arc reactors. Iron Man is also a member of the Avengers, a team of superhumans assembled by S.H.I.E.L.D, a military defence organisation.

MK I Costumes Tony Stark has had several Iron Man suits. The main ones are: MK IIMK III MK IV (AKA the suitcase suit)
