Presentation transcript:

Produce a revision poster on Cell structure and transport Microscopes – Name the different parts and describe how to use a microscope to observe an onion cell. Plant and animal cells –Diagram with labels and functions Prokaryotic and eukaryotic – Diagram of bacteria with labels and differences between eukaryotes and prokaryotes Specialised cells – Draw 2 specialised from an animal and plant with adaptations of how it can carry out its function. Diffusion – Definition and diagram to show diffusion. Osmosis – Definition and diagram to show osmosis with examples. Osmosis in plants – Describe how to carry out a practical involving potato chips and the meanings of hypotonic, hypertonic and isotonic solutions. Active Transport – Definition and describe using a diagram. Give examples. Exchanging materials – State how to calculate the surface area to volume ratio of a cube with a length of 2cm and the exchange surface is adapted to exchange materials e.g. alveoli.
