Rom. 5:1-11 We Exult

We Exult! Romans 5:1-11

What NOT To Exult In Romans 2:23 “Boast in the Law” 2 Corinthians 5:12 pride in appearance Ephesians 2:8-9 “not as result of works” James 4:13-16 boasting in arrogance is evil

We exult in hope of the glory of God Romans 5:2 5:1 We enter God’s grace 5:3 We stand in His grace We rejoice that we will join in Christ’s glory! (Phil. 3:21; 1 John 3:2-3) Can people see that you exult in the hope of the glory of God?

We Exult In Our Tribulations Romans 5:3 Persecutions strengthen faith (Matt. 5:11-12; 2 Cor. 12:9-10; 2 Thess. 1:4-5) Tribulation brings perseverance (5:3) Perseverance brings proven character (5:4) Proven character brings hope (5:4) Hope does not disappoint (Rom. 4:19-20)

We Exult In God Romans 5:11 The Condition of Man “helpless” (5:6) “ungodly” (5:6) “sinners” (5:8) “enemies” (5:10) Why would someone die for these? God demonstrates His love (5:8) His love is “poured out” in our hearts! (5:5)

We Exult In God Romans 5:11 God’s wrath has been removed (5:9-11) We have all been God’s enemy We can all be reconciled (5:10) Jesus can deliver us from God’s eternal wrath. We exult in God through Jesus – we exult NOW! 1 Corinthians 1:27-31 Philippians 3:3 Galatians 6:14

Are We Lacking In Joy? Focus on what GOD has done! Sin prevents us from rejoicing. God’s promises are available to YOU! You can rejoice NOW!
