“Priority Model” Criteria Complete at least two of the following: Advanced Academic Programs Earn 12 hours of college credit courses (e.g. dual credit, AP); or graduate under the Distinguished Level of Achievement High School Plan or under the International Baccalaureate Program. Initial TEXAS Grant Recipients by Race It is important to note that comparisons between FY2014 and FY2015 are difficult for reasons beyond the introduction of the Priority Model criteria: FY2105 data is preliminary; 2-year institutions were limited to renewal awards beginning in FY2015; and significant shifts in TEXAS Grant allocations occurred in FY2015 due to SB 28 changes. Due to the change with 2-year institutions, the data presented represents public 4-year institutions only. 5
