Green folder communication log Each presidential election year Hand-In-Hand goes to the polls. Voting is one of American's civic responsibilities. On election day, students will learn that voting is fun. Each student will get to go to the polls and pretend to vote for the candidate of his/her choice. Please know that no one is told who to vote for or swayed in any way. This is just to extend our standards and unit, "Proud to be an American."  It's the importance of the process that we are beginning to instill in our little ones.
