Which Aunt Makes the most nutritious mix? Trail Mix Which Aunt Makes the most nutritious mix?

The problem You have two aunts and they love trail mix. Each has a different blend of ingredients and both claim their mix is the most nutritious. Using the fat and calorie content from random samples of each mix, determine which aunt has the most nutritious mix.

The Data Trail Mix 1 Trail Mix 2 Total Fat (g) Total Calories 14.3 272.1 16 301.6 10.9 285.6 15.1 277 13.6 295.5 18.8 315.4 11.3 314 21.3 299.5 11 255.4 12.1 269 10.1 244.9 13.9 289.9 10 252.8 19.3 324.7 294 22.4 313.2 14 301.9 16.7 309.6 6.6 163.8 14.5 291.9 10.7 255.6 17.3 286.8 12.9 292.1 18.3 312.5 11.1 280.4 12.8 270.5 11.2 227.6 219.1 10.3 243.1 18.4 292.2

The Task Graph the data (one graph for each mix) Determine a line of best fit with your noodle Answer the Questions on the handout Give one of the aunts the good news (you won’t have to tell the other one… things like this have a way of getting out…)
