Dear Me Letters to my 16 year old self Vocabulary

Dear Me - Vocabulary apocalypse – (noun) a predicted world-wide disaster or mass destruction. Everyone around you is worrying that the world is going to end in a nuclear apocalypse. vague – (adj, ) not clearly stated or written Some of this may sound a little vague. accomplish – (verb) to perform or finish a goal In just one year you will have accomplished your "life's dream“. incredibly – (adv) beyond belief or understanding; unbelievable The part I don't get is how you can do all that and have such incredibly low self-esteem. self-esteem - (noun) a respect for or liking of oneself; self-respect. perceive – (verb) to become aware of something through the senses You spend way too much time staring at yourself in the mirror and only seeing the bad things, or at least what you perceive as bad. time-warp – (noun) a phrase that means that you can either stop time or move between times like going to your future or your past. I only wish I could save you all the pain, and send you some magical time-warp message from the future.

Defining the word using context clues in the sentence. I vaguely remember that you told me that, but the details are not clear. Yes, even though an –ly was added, the word is used the same and the correct definition is use when sentence says it wasn’t clear. My accomplish are great because I always finish my goals. No, accomplish is a verb and it is used here as a noun so it is not used correctly even though it is defined correctly. I perceive the world around through my senses especially through touch and sight. Yep, percieive is used correctly and is defined in the context.
