Technician License HamCram Course March 29 - 30, 2017 Illinois Health and Hospital Association – 222 S. Riverside Plaza, Suite 1900, Chicago The Chicago Healthcare System Coalition for Preparedness and Response (CHSCPR) will offer a 2-day course for those of you who would like to obtain your Technician Class (entry level) Amateur Radio license. To earn the license it requires passing an examination on radio theory, regulations and operating practices. The license gives access to most Amateur Radio frequencies above 30 megahertz, allowing you the ability to communicate locally and most often within North America. Wednesday, March 29th 8:00 am – 4:00 pm Thursday, March 30th 8:00 am – 3:00 pm For registration please contact: Keneatha Johnson at kjohnson@team-iha.org This educational training program is being provided at NO CHARGE through a grant from the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR) awarded to the Chicago Department of Public Health (CDPH).
