Warm UpWednesday, January 13th For the following research topic, write expository (purpose: to explain), argumentative (purpose: to persuade), and analytical (purpose: to analyze multiple perspectives in a balanced way) thesis statements: Teachers being required to have guns on campus in order to protect students and self.

Learning Targets: To narrow down/refine your research topic. To write key questions/key search terms for your topic. To locate and secure at least two more solid sources toward your research essay.

Assignment – Initial Research Plan Go to Google Classroom, and complete the assignment that’s due today (Initial Research Plan).

Homework SRP Homework II by next Tuesday, January 19th.
