Chapter 2 – Section 3: Day 2 The Phoenicians

The Phoenicians The Phoenicians After the fall of the Egyptian and Hittite empires, many city-states and kingdoms emerged. The Phoenicians lived on the Mediterranean coast in Palestine. They built ships and became great international sea traders. They sailed to Britain, Spain, and the west coast of Africa.

The Phoenicians The Phoenicians (cont.) The Phoenicians are best known for their alphabet. It was copied by the Greeks and the Romans.
