DECISIONS/ACTIONS REQUIRED Adopt draft Decision 4.4(1)/1 Further implementation of the WMO Strategy for Services Delivery and harmonization of service delivery in RA II

Considerations: Relevant decisions and resolutions of Congress, EC and RA II That essential services provided by NMHSs save lives and livelihoods The need for Members to raise the levels of service delivery The need to mainstream SD into activities of WMO The need for RA II Members to establish mechanisms that promote good service delivery

Decision: To endorse the areas of focus in implementing the Strategy To establish an inter-regional early warning advisory system to provide regional coordination to build on experiences and tools developed within the PWS Programme such WWIS, SWIC, CAP and impact-based forecast and warning services

Urges/Requests RA II: to implement the Strategy to improve delivery of weather, climate and hydrological services, thus contributing to PWS, GFCS, DRR and QMF Secretary-General: to facilitate and support implementation to support Members improve SD levels through in-country training approach that includes a training mechanism to render the in-country approach scalable
