Bolden, M.A. PURPOSE ASSIGNMENT INSTRUCTIONS FEEDBACK FROM STUDENTS COMPLETED ASSIGNMENTS Observation #3 Background This assignment was originally developed by Dr. Lin Moore, Associate Professor, in the Department of Family Sciences. The original two assignments, Observation #3 and Observation #4 were combined to create one assignment. Student Learning Outcome Observe young children and relate the development to child behaviors. Objectives Strengthen observation skills Expand student’s understanding of peer interactions and the association with child guidance Expand student’s understanding of classroom transitions and the association with child guidance Observation #3 Observation #4 “As a result of this activity I was able to see real life examples of what we learned about in [Child] guidance… Documenting the observations allowed me to think through what I was observing and connect it to the material.
