Science Olympiad The Science Olympiad meeting is rescheduled for Thursday after school in room 148.

Math Competition Attention all American Mathematics Competitors, the AMC test is coming Wednesday Feb 20th. Sign up with your math teacher on or before Monday January 28th. The cost is $4. Cash or check made out to Rochester Community Schools.

Spanish Club Spanish club has is having an ice cream social on Wednesday, January 30 after school in room 224.  Please sign up outside Sra Griffith’s classroom to bring a topping to share!

Safe Driving Awareness Contest In order to raise awareness of the growing problem of texting while driving, the Rochester Hills Government Youth Council is sponsoring a contest funded by Ford and AAA January 28th to February 11th to submit a poster, video, song, or anything that will promote no texting while driving. Submissions will be delivered to City Hall, and the top 3 winners will receive Visa Gift Cards: First place gets $100, second place gets $75, and third place gets $50. Winning videos or songs will be placed on the announcements, and posters will be hung throughout the school.

ATTENTION ALL CREATIVE WRITERS! A Creative Writing Club is starting up at Adams and will be having a short informational meeting next Wednesday (1/30) in Mrs. Danielson's room right after school. Creative writing is writing that expresses the writer's thoughts in an imaginative way such as journalism, poetry, or fictional writing. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Danielson.
