Objective Two G.1 B Trace the spatial diffussion of a phenomenon and describe its effects on regions of contact such as the spread of bubonic plague, the diffusion and exchange of foods between the New and Old Worlds. Diffusion: the process by which an idea or innovation is transmitted from one individual or group to another across space. People move and take with them their culture or when a new idea spreads throughout society.
