Rome Declaration and launch of U4SSC 18-19 May 2016, Rome, Italy, at the Forum on “Shaping smarter and more sustainable cities: striving for sustainable development goals” Launch of the U4SSC Rome Declaration

Approval of ToR 21-22 July 2016, Geneva at the 1st meeting of U4SSC The main objectives of the meeting were: approve the terms of reference of the U4SSC working groups formulate proposals for the U4SSC Action Plan collect feedback on the KPIs for smart sustainable cities elaborated by ITU and UNECE together with other stakeholders U4SSC is a global initiative which provides a global platform for smart cities stakeholders to advocate for public policies to encourage the use of ICT and facilitate the transition to smart sustainable cities.
