You’re just helping them raise money. ) Friday (09/08) – Mini. Benchmark # 2 Go get your breakfast NOW. Do not wait. Turn in any signed paperwork to the 7th period bin. If you are not eating, you must read something of your choice. HOMEROOM = SILENCE

Language Arts – Warm Up 09/07/17 I.A.N. – p. 52 First, complete from “Flipped” – Characterization Chart to your Reading Strategies T.O.C. from page 52 from yesterday. When you finish, read from “Flipped” a second time (p. 19-23) and make annotations this time.

Language Arts – Work Session 09/07/17 from “Flipped” (p. 19-23) For the second read, use your annotations key. Once you have finished reading the story a second time, answer questions 1-4 on pages 23-24. Remember, you can access this story online once you have created your SpringBoard Online account!

Language Arts – Work Session 09/07/17 Essential Question: How can change be significant? What makes a good story? Standard: ELASE6RL2 – Determine a theme or central idea of a text and how it is conveyed through particular details; provide a summary of the text distinct from personal opinions or judgments. Learning Targets: Define the concept of change through the reading of a narrative. Apply understanding of narrative elements to reading and writing.

Language Arts – Closing Session 09/07/17 Independent Reading If you do not finish questions 1-4 on SpringBoard pages 23-24 today, you will have some time in class tomorrow. As you read your book of choice, be sure to add to your second Independent Reading Notes ½ sheet. It is due September 22, 2017. You will have an I.A.N. check next Friday, September 15, 2017. You will be provided with a checklist this week for what will be checked. Use the blog to get your I.A.N. caught up! Homework - Register for your online account on SpringBoard A.S.A.P.!
