Brussels projects Since 2014 Groups from all over Flanders…  … but few from Brussels.  However:  -nearby  - qualitative infrastructure  -green spaces - artistic knowhow Unknown is unloved

Exhibitions 1) Young artists from Brussels 2) Exhibitions talking about Brussels minorities (ex. Photographer working on arrival areas in Brussels: Kuregem, Molenbeek,... ) Destelheide provides guided tours for the visiting youth groups.

Artist in residence Recruitement of Brussels artists Try-outs for visiting youth organisations  Exchange between youth and Brussels artists

Custom projects Developing projects with youth work organisations, (art)schools and artists. Destelheide supports logistic and artistic by proposing specific artists. Starting from the needs of the partner. 

Project ‘Arrival Youth’ Who? Refugee youngsters 16-25 years old Collaboration with Centrum West (youthhouse in Molenbeek) Need? 1) selfexpression 2) group dynamic What? Using participative theatre workforms to talk about their personal stories. 

Context Target group 20 refugee youngsters (most of them unaccompanied minors) living in an asylum center different cultures - different languages individual stories Support 1 mentor 3 companions with a refugee background 1 theater director 1 logistic support
