REVIEW Rom 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, [which is] your reasonable service.

Convenient Christian - follows Christ until it infringes on their personal lifestyle. Consecrated Christian - follows Christ with their intellect, emotions and personal will power but never yields their life. Controlled Christian - follows Christ with a completely yielded life.

2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Worldly Conformity - the result of holding worldly affections. Col Worldly Conformity - the result of holding worldly affections. Col. 3:2 Christ Transformed - the result of give up your body and giving over your mind. Phil 2:5-8

KEY POINT #3 Submission to God is to agree to edify the body by whatever gifting he sees fit.
