CHE 460/460L: Molecular Spectroscopy with Lab Fall 2019 Dr. Hare What you’ll learn How we use modern spectroscopic methods to solve chemical problems How to use instruments like FTIRs, fluorimeters, lifetime measurements, laser spectrometers, etc. Course logistics Lecture Monday and Wednesday 9 – 9:50 AM Lab Tuesday 8 AM – 12:50 PM 4 credits (2 each for 460 and 460L) Satisfies upper level (>300) CHE credit requirements, “A course” for ACS BS track. Prereq: C- or better in CHE 311, 350/L or permit (Since 350 is every other year, don’t worry about not having it- I’ll permit) Pchem and calculus not required! Questions?
