We do this by: Providing opportunities for students and families to learn and have fun inside and outside of the school day Providing monetary and human resources to support Ashlawn’s exceptional academic program

Four Key Areas Learn More: After School Enrichment, Lawns to Lettuce for Lunch, First Grade Readathon, purchase of supplemental resources for classroom use Have Fun: Back to School Picnic, Family Gym Night, Fun Fair, Family Restaurant Nights, Adult Social Do Good: Global Citizens Project, Homeless Bagged Meals, supporting Ashlawn families and staff Raise Funds: Augmenting the APS Budget

Why Raise Funds? In the past 2 years the PTA has augmented the Ashlawn budget by: Providing funds for Responsive Classroom Training Providing teachers with the opportunity to attend professional development related to reading and writing workshop Providing equipment such as the lower field playground, P.E. and Art materials, and supplemental music curriculum Providing financial assistance for students to attend fieldtrips
