High-Performance Production Technician Unit 2 Working in Manufacturing History of Commerce Further understanding of impact to where we are today Add their comments to flipchart. Commerce – the exchange of goods and services, started as an individual process where each person created things that made everyday activities easier. Realizing that others could benefit from new inventions, people were willing to trade creations. So, the exchange took place. As transportation became easier with the use of animals and machines, the market for our goods expanded – more customers and more purchasable items. With different means of communication, others heard about goods and wanted them. Copyright 2015 MSSC
