Absolute Values and Magnitude Today we will find the absolute value using a number line. We will also find the magnitude of a positive or negative number in a real world situation. We will work independently to show how we have mastered 6.NS.C.7. by completing at least 3 out of the 5 levels.

Language Objective By the end of the lesson students will be able to use all four language domains of listening, speaking, reading and writing to communicate the academic math language of Absolute values and Magnitudes. They will communicate how to find the magnitude of a positive or negative number in a real world situation.
